Mark has an extensive operations and accounting background and has worked with companies in manufacturing, technology and distribution and other industries. Mr. Thomasís advisory experience includes assessing all aspects of a business enterprise, including bank and debt financing, sales effectiveness, R&D and project management, quality and operational effectiveness. Oversight roles have also included everything from sales staff development, accounting systems reviews, costing and pricing evaluations and insurance reviews, as well as complex asset purchases, sales and M&A transactions. Mr. Thomas has negotiated debt and financing arrangements, including credit facilities for public companies, and has led procurement and fulfillment of multimillion dollar government contracts. As an executive, Mr. Thomas has had complete P&L responsibility, including key relationship management of critical customer and vendor accounts, contract reviews and all major negotiations.
Mr. Thomas is a CPA (inactive) and has a B.S. of Accounting from Moorhead State University. He has held officer and board of director roles in public and private companies ranging in size from several million to $45 million in sales. Markís business advisory experience has ranged from a management consultant to interim CEO and CFO roles in a wide variety of industries, including ultra-miniature microelectronics, industrial recycling, parachute systems, apparel manufacturing and distribution, recruiting, software and animal food products.
